Part Time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

We are seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist for our growing organization on Saturdays and Wednesday evenings. The position will be 10 – 12 hours per week. Additional hours will be available on weekends or special events.


Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answers Questions about PMAC’s Programs, Events, and Fundraisers
  • Greets Parents, Students as they enter PMAC facility
  • Answers Phones
  • Accepts Payments for Tuition, Ticket sales, and Drop In Classes
  • Conducts Tours of PMAC Space
  • Light office work including filing and processing some sales
  • Some data entry
  • Provides Office Support for PMAC events

Required Skills:

  • Strong Communication Skills (in person, phone and over email)
  • An Independent Worker who still has the ability to work well in a team
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Must actively use e-mail, Google Calendar, Google Applications, and be comfortable navigating computers and using new programs, including but not limited to our registration software
  • Ability to Operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to computers, telephone systems, printers and copiers


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Prior Experience in the Customer Service Industry
  • Belief in a strong community arts organization
