Collage and Zine Making is a visual arts class for ages 65+. A zine is a booklet style artwork that you make yourself, keep, give away, or trade. It can display your very own DIY collage, with the addition of drawing and writing on any topic of your choosing, with the opportunity for intuitive collage experimentation. They are often created as a way for people to share their perspectives and experiences, and to express themselves and connect with others who have similar interests. All the materials will be provided, you will learn some basic fundamentals of bookbinding to finish your mini zine book at the end of the course, and you will go home with your own mini-zine!
