Ready to rock?! Dive into the world of alternative rock as you learn and perform songs by iconic artists like The Clash, The Cure, The Police, Radiohead, Nirvana, The Flaming Lips, and more! The Alt Rock Band is open to intermediate and advanced musicians on guitar, bass, drums, piano, or vocals. As a member of the Alt Rock Band, you’ll hone your skills, collaborate with fellow musicians, and take your performance to the next level. End of term performances at local music venues allow you to build confidence and develop your stage presence.
A placement audition is required for new students to ensure the best group experience.
Creative Aging Program: Adult students ages 65+ enrolled in an adult music ensemble are eligible for a tuition discount ranging from 50% to 100%, based on their age. Visit the registration page for full details. This program is supported by a grant from the Foundation for Seacoast Health.
