This ensemble explores all aspects of the genre, from learning the unique roles of each instrument to singing tight vocal harmonies and mastering the art of soloing. With roots in Appalachian folk, country, and blues, bluegrass has evolved into the fast-paced, improvisational style we know today.
The Bluegrass Ensemble welcomes late beginner and intermediate adult musicians on acoustic guitar, accordion, mandolin, fiddle, upright bass, and banjo. Whether you’re drawn to the lively rhythms or the soulful storytelling, this ensemble is the perfect place to grow your skills and enjoy playing together.
