PMAC’s Classic Rock Band embraces a love for the early, explosive days of “rock ‘n roll.” In this ensemble, you’ll focus on iconic music from the ’60s and ’70s, with occasional nods to other eras that channel the spirit of this period, where rock’s rapid growth led to the adoption of rock as the primary mode of pop music expression.

Led by teaching artist Nick Phaneuf, this program emphasizes how to learn songs – not just songs for this ensemble, but developing skills to tackle any song you encounter. Whether you’re a bedroom player ready to go beyond solo practice or an advanced musician looking for a group experience grounded in a love for this era’s rock music, the PMAC Classic Rock Band is for you!

Placement audition required. Open to drums, bass, keys, guitar, vocals, brass, and woodwinds.
