In the New Horizons String Orchestra, adult string players come together in a group setting to work on orchestral performance skills such as balance, articulation, listening, and dynamics. The ensemble plays various styles of music with an emphasis on the classical string orchestra repertoire. All adult string players are welcome, but music reading is necessary. Open to violin, viola, cello and bass.
Creative Aging Program: Adult students ages 65+ enrolled in an adult music ensemble are eligible for a tuition discount ranging from 50% to 100%, based on their age. Visit the registration page for full details. This program is supported by a grant from the Foundation for Seacoast Health.
