For Grades 7-10 (Must be 13+)

Teen Filmmaking Lab invites you to step behind the camera to explore storytelling through the visual language of cinema. In this hands-on filmmaking course, students will write, shoot, and edit original short films while building confidence on set and in post-production. Along the way, they will also analyze scenes from classic and contemporary films to see how cinematography, lighting, sound, and editing shape meaning and emotion—then apply those techniques to their own projects. The course concludes with a student film festival where students share their work with friends and family.
