Music Teaching Artists
TRUMPET

Caleigh is a junior at the University of New Hampshire, pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Performance. She has dedicated a decade to mastering the trumpet, with seven of those years devoted to teaching. Her teaching experience ranges from the North Hampton School to the UNH Youth Band and even extends to elementary schools in Keene, New Hampshire.

Caleigh’s expertise stems from her role as the principal trumpet player in the UNH Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra. She’s also a valued member of the 3 o’clock jazz band. Her musical journey has taken her to Italy and Germany, where she performed with her university groups in multiple schools and cities across the two countries. Caleigh takes pride in her skills across classical, jazz, and beginner music production, in addition to her proficiency in successful All-State preparation.

As an educator, Caleigh is grounded and places a strong emphasis on the emotional aspects of music. She firmly believes that music provides a safe haven for anyone interested in participating and has the skills to provide the foundation for anyone’s musical endeavors. She views music as a universal form of expression and is dedicated to promoting this freedom in the lives of her students.
