Kate Possi has an outlet playing music around the Seacoast New Hampshire scene for the last 5 years. Originally from Boston, she started her musical endeavors on the cello at age 9 and later picking up the guitar at age 13. Since then, Kate has played music all around New England sharing her indie-folk sound both as a solo performer, and with her band. Her songwriting focuses on loss, love, heartbreak, and life.
Kate also began teaching K-5 music in 2024 after graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelors degree in Music Education, studying guitar under Professor David Newsam.
Teaching Philosophy:
As a teacher, my goal is for every student to learn in a way that is meaningful for them. Whether that is by learning their favorite songs, digging into music theory, or learning guitar riffs, I am excited to teach all of my students in a way they can connect with.
