Rob Sanzone has taught music and instrumental lessons in public and private schools, non-profits and in his home studio for over 25 years. A New England-based eclectic multi-instrumentalist, Rob has been performing, recording and releasing music with various acts since 1994. He has released two solo singles on Deep Red Records and scored music for two films; The River (2013), and Sometime Other Than Now (2021). Rob is currently performing with bluegrass-americana band The Picky Bastards, funk-soul group Jordan Weller & The Feathers, and Rhapsody: The Music of Queen. In his career he has been stoked to open for Jeff Lang, Hamell on Trial, Joey Belladonna (Anthrax), Joe MacMahon (Smoke or Fire), Cypress Hill, The Wailers, Bella’s Bartok and Todd Mack. 

Rob earned a B.A. from UMass, Amherst in Anthropology with additional course work in Music Theory, Music Harmony, Music History, Jazz Performance, Ethnomusicology, Sociology and Political Science. He is currently licensed as a Music Educator for New Hampshire, and is nearing completion of a Master’s in Music Education degree from the University of Southern Maine, Gorham. Rob has taught guitar, mandolin, bass, piano, ukulele, banjo, drums, clarinet, alto saxophone and harmonica as well as live sound, studio engineering and songwriting.

In addition to PMAC, Rob is also currently teaching K-6 General Music at Rollinsford Grade School in Rollinsford, New Hampshire where he also directs Beginning Band, Returning Band and Chorus.
