Will Cicola is a Seacoast-based woodwind specialist who has been performing and teaching professionally for over twenty years. While classically trained, he has always explored a wide range of musical styles; he has performed and recorded with ensembles incorporating elements of klezmer, jazz, R&B, rock, Arabic, Turkish, Brazilian, and North+South Indian traditions. During his time in New York and mid-Michigan, he also served as a woodwind faculty member at music schools, festivals, and summer programs as well as teaching masterclasses and sectionals for school music programs, and worked as a recording engineer in multiple studios.

Since moving to New Hampshire in 2021, he has played in the pit orchestra at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre in addition to a variety of ensembles throughout New England, including The Rockingham Groove, Foreside Funk, The Sultans, and the Jack Welsh Big Band.

Teaching Philosophy:

“I believe in a collaborative, personalized approach to learning, working with students to tailor their education around their individual learning style, interests, strengths, and needs. I am dedicated to helping students of all ages and levels develop their fundamental skills and broaden their base of musicianship so they can achieve success at every stage of their musical journey, whether they’re playing Bird, Brahms, Brandwein, or do Bandolim.”
