Music Therapy private lessons are used to improve and enhance the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of individuals of all ages by setting specific goals that can be reached through the creative process. Clinical and evidence-based, this program relies on the use of music interventions in a therapeutic relationship with a credentialed professional. 

Music therapy has proven effective for many different types of disabilities and challenges, even in those who are resistive to traditional treatment approaches.

PMAC’s Resident Music Therapist

PMAC’s certified music therapist Ginna Macdonald welcomes students of all ages and abilities and works with them to establish and meet goals, while encouraging self-expression and creative development. Music therapy private lessons have proven effective for many different types of disabilities and challenges, even in those who are resistive to traditional treatment approaches.

New Clients / 6-Week Trial

New clients start with a six-week trial of 30-minute sessions. New clients may start a trial at any time during the year. After the trial period, clients may continue lessons with their instructor, paying tuition prorated for the remainder of the semester.

Because our Music Therapy program is customized around each student’s individual needs, new and returning students should register by contacting the PMAC office at 603-431-4278, or submitting an online inquiry.

Office Closure

PMAC is closed from December 23—January 5 for our Holiday Break.
PMAC will reopen and resume the Fall Semester on Monday, January 6. 
 
Administrative staff will be unavailable during the break. We will respond to emails and voicemails when the semester starts.
 
PLEASE NOTE: if you are a current Saturday lesson student, you may have a make up lesson on 1/4. Please confirm with your instructor.
