Ginna’s musical journey began in Connecticut with piano and clarinet, leading her to youth symphonies and statewide competitions. She earned a degree in music education from the University of Connecticut. Inspired by the birth of her first child, she expanded her musical repertoire, trained as a Kindermusik teacher, and joined PMAC in 2003. Her work with children sparked a deep interest in the healing power of music, prompting her to pursue a master’s degree in music therapy at Lesley University. Ginna enjoys performing in pit orchestras and diverse ensembles. She finds fulfillment in sharing her love for music with her students, tailoring her teaching to nurture each individual’s strengths. As a music therapist, she uses music to support individuals with physical, developmental, cognitive, and social/communication challenges. Ginna resides in Rye with her partner, two feline companions, and a loyal canine friend.
